The Champions turns an ordinary reel position into something worth following from spin to spin. Before playing, a target can be placed over any cell on the grid. Landing the required football symbol directly on that position scores a goal, advances an eleven level Momentum system and activates a multiplier that can eventually reach 20x. Rather than hiding its main mechanic inside a Free Spins round, the game builds progression through regular paid spins. The Champions uses five reels, three rows and 25 fixed paylines.
