Gemine
Gemine takes place deep inside a glowing underground mine where an enormous 8 by 8 grid is packed with gemstones instead of conventional reel symbols. Pragmatic Play builds the game around Cluster Pays, Tumbles and five coloured modifier positions that can completely reshape the board after a successful sequence. Winning symbols also feed a collection meter that can eventually open a five level Gems Feature, where every stage raises the win multiplier and gives the modifiers another chance to transform the grid. With high volatility, a 96.55 percent RTP and maximum winnings of 10,000 times the bet in the current technical listing, Gemine puts much more emphasis on chaining transformations than simply landing one large cluster. A regular win requires at least 5 identical gems connected horizontally or vertically. Diagonal contact alone is not enough. Seven different gemstone types make up the paytable, with rewards increasing sharply as the cluster grows. The red gem is the strongest regular symbol and can award 1,000 times the total bet when at least 25 matching red gems belong to the same cluster. Every successful cluster activates a Tumble. All symbols involved in the payout disappear, remaining gems fall into the empty positions and fresh symbols enter from above. If another cluster of at least 5 matching gems forms, another payout is awarded and the process repeats. Winning symbols removed throughout these sequences are also counted by the collection meter used to unlock the Gems Feature. Five differently coloured marked positions appear randomly on the grid during regular spins. When a winning symbol occupies one of those marked spaces, the corresponding modifier is collected. The modifiers do not interrupt the current Tumbles immediately. Once the natural winning sequence has finished, every collected modifier activates in its designated order and can create new opportunities on the grid. The blue Mining modifier completely clears the current grid and replaces every position with fresh symbols, effectively giving the board another chance to form clusters. The purple Wild Miner modifier selects one regular gem type and transforms every instance of that symbol currently visible into Wilds. These Miner Wilds can substitute for paying gemstones and may contribute to more than one cluster simultaneously. The yellow Squares modifier adds 2 by 2 blocks made from matching symbols at random positions. The red Super Gems modifier is considerably larger, inserting a block measuring 3 by 3, 4 by 4 or even 5 by 5 using one matching gemstone. Since Cluster Pays rewards symbol quantity, a successful large block can instantly create an unusually large cluster or connect separate groups that were previously too far apart. The green Lucky Miner modifier fills between 5 and 15 random positions with Wild Symbols. These Wilds substitute for regular gemstones and can create several clusters during the resulting sequence. Wilds are therefore not ordinary symbols that appear naturally throughout Gemine. Their presence is specifically tied to the Wild Miner and Lucky Miner modifiers. The Gems Feature is triggered by collecting 114 winning symbols during a single paid spin and its resulting sequences. Level 1 begins with a 2x win multiplier and plays the modifier set. Progressing further requires another collection target at each stage. Level 2 requires 116 winning symbols and raises the multiplier to 4x. Level 3 requires 120 and increases it to 6x. Level 4 requires 124 and applies 8x, while Level 5 requires 132 winning symbols and reaches the maximum 10x level multiplier. Progress does not automatically continue through all five levels. At each stage, enough winning symbols must be collected to reach the next target. If the required amount is not achieved, the Gems Feature ends. Successfully reaching a new level means playing the modifier sequence again with the stronger multiplier attached to wins, so deeper progression combines increasingly large multiplier values with another full set of grid altering mechanics. Where Feature Buy is available, immediate access to the Gems Feature costs 100 times the total bet and begins from the same first level used by a naturally triggered feature. The Feature Buy version is documented with an RTP of approximately 96.51 percent. Gemine is at its best when several systems begin feeding one another, with Tumbles adding symbols to the meter, marked positions collecting modifiers and those modifiers generating fresh clusters that can push the feature towards its next multiplier level.
